This morning, the Holy Spirit is reminding you and me that a new page, a new chapter, a new season, total newness of life is possible because Christ came, fulfilled His mission and now lives forever.
God sent His son, they called Him Jesus
He came to love, heal and forgive
He lived and died to buy my pardon
An empty grave is there to prove my savior lives.
Isn’t this an accurate description of the completed work of Christ? To love, to heal, to forgive and to buy our pardon!
The condemned thief who acknowledged Jesus as Lord received forgiveness (Luke. 23:42). He received forgiveness at a time one would have considered as too late.
Luke 4:40 tells us that: At sunset, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying his hands on each one, He healed them.
In John 9, we read of how Jesus healed a man who was born blind; and in Mark 5, we read of how He restored a demon-possessed man. In John 11, He raised up Lazarus from the dead; and in Luke 7, Jesus turned a funeral into a praise and worship service.
Everywhere he went, He was doing good, opening new pages by forgiving sins; opening new pages by healing diseases; opening new pages by delivering men and women from the bondage of Satan and his demons. And you know what, that Jesus is the same, yesterday, today and tomorrow. (Heb. 13:8)
Have you sinned, are you struggling with sin? I pray that the Lord will open for you a new page of forgiveness, pardon and restoration. Ask Him to help you. He loves you. He will forgive.
Are you ill? Have you been ill for a while? I pray that the Lord will open a new page of health and vitality for you. Have faith and ask Him.
What is dead or dying in your life? Christ has been lifted up and all who look to Him will live. (John 3:14)

Because He lives, I can face tomorrow
Because He lives, all fear is gone
Because I know He holds the future
And life is worth the living, just because He lives
Your savior is alive and is seated at the right hand of God Almighty making intercession for you ( Heb. 7:25), and yes, because He lives, you can have a new page opened for you; you can face a new tomorrow with the assurance of His love and power.
Let us pray.
Lord, we confess you as the God for whom all things are possible and this morning, we ask that Your power and love will intervene in our lives to turn our circumstances around and to usher us into new seasons of forgiveness, health and restoration in all areas of our lives. In Jesus name, Amen.
