In this episode of Reflections Tuesday from October 14, 2025, Pastor Ayo Agunloye continues the empowering series on covenant fruitfulness with “The Gift of Prophecy,” rooted in Romans 12:1-8 and 1 Corinthians 12:4-6. Broadcasting live on Gospel Bells Radio, he equips believers to harness divine graces for vibrant church membership, spotlighting prophecy as a tool for edification and direction.
Pastor Ayo recaps the call to present our bodies as living sacrifices—caring for physical and spiritual health to function fully in Christ’s body—while urging humility amid diverse gifts. No member is superior; all parts, from heart to hair, serve uniquely. He unpacks spiritual gifts as unearned graces from the same Spirit, with variations in administration (how delivered) and operation (how manifested), using vivid examples like Smith Wigglesworth’s bold healing style.

Subscribe NowCentral to the message: Prophecy is divine discourse declaring God’s purpose—primarily forthtelling (revealing His mind now for rebuke, comfort, or guidance) over mere foretelling (predicting events). Pastor Ayo warns against pride, commercialization, and over-reliance on predictions, sharing cautionary tales of manipulated marriages and unheeded rebukes. True prophecy aligns with Scripture, fosters repentance, and prepares the church, as seen in Agabus’s warnings. Even preachers unwittingly prophesy when declaring God’s Word, reminding us: “The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
This session is a must-hear for discerning God’s voice amid modern distractions. Are you stewarding your graces humbly? Pastor Ayo’s balanced, biblical insights will sharpen your prophetic ear and deepen your church impact.
