“From Me your fruit is found.” —Hosea 14:8

All our fruit comes from God.

It begins with union. A branch only bears fruit because it is joined to the root. Cut it off, and it withers. So it is with us: apart from Christ, we are barren. Every act of faith, every work of love, every victory over sin first existed in Christ, then flowed into us through our union with Him. Treasure this precious connection—without Him, we can do nothing.

Our fruit also comes from God through spiritual providence. Just as dew, rain, and sunlight ripen the vine’s clusters, so the Father sends His grace—comfort, strength, wisdom, and power. Every bit of usefulness we have is His gift.

And our fruit comes from God’s wise pruning. The gardener’s knife may cut deep, but only so the tree may grow stronger and bear more. Trials and discipline are part of His faithful love.

Since all fruit is from Him, let us give Him all the glory—for our growth, our usefulness, and our salvation.

PRAYER

LORD, My fruitfulness begins and ends in Christ—apart from Him, I can do nothing. All glory to Your name.
