Hosea 10:12

“It is time to seek the Lord.”

The month of April is said to take its name from the Latin word aperio, which means “to open,” because this is the time when buds and blossoms begin to open, and we enter the gateway of the season of flowers. Dear reader, if you have not yet given your life to Christ, may your heart, like the world around you, open to receive the Lord. Every blooming flower serves as a reminder that now is the time to seek Him. Do not be out of sync with the renewal happening in nature—let your heart blossom with holy desires.

Do you say that the energy of youth still flows through your veins? Then I urge you—give your strength to the Lord. I was blessed beyond words to be called to Him in my early years, and I thank God every day for it. Salvation is priceless, no matter when it comes, but oh, how much greater its value when embraced early! Young men and women, since life is uncertain and tomorrow is not guaranteed, take to heart this urgent call: “It is time to seek the Lord.”

And you who are noticing the first signs of aging—do not delay. That lingering cough, that fleeting flush in your cheeks—these may be warnings you cannot afford to ignore. For you, more than ever, it is time to seek the Lord.

Have I noticed a touch of gray in your once vibrant hair? The years are passing quickly, and death is approaching with steady steps. Let every returning spring be a reminder to set your heart and life in order.

Dear reader, if you have reached the later years of life, I plead with you—do not put this off any longer. The door of grace is still open for you, and that alone is reason to be grateful. But remember, this is a limited opportunity, and with every ticking second, it grows shorter.

Here in the quiet of this moment, on the first night of a new month, I write to you as best as I can, pouring out my heart as a servant of God. With all sincerity, I urge you to hear this warning: “It is time to seek the Lord.”

Do not take this lightly. This may be your last invitation to turn from destruction—the final word of grace spoken to your soul.

Let us pray.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts open, hearing Your call to seek You while You may be found. Lord, we know that today is the day of salvation, and tomorrow is not promised. I pray for every heart that has not yet turned to You—soften them, O God. Let the urgency of Your Word take root, that none would delay in surrendering to Your love and grace.

For the young, Lord, give them the wisdom to seek You early, that their lives may be anchored in Your truth. For those in their later years, remind them that it is never too late to turn to You, for Your mercy endures forever. Draw each soul near, Lord, and let this moment be a defining one—a moment of decision, a moment of salvation.

Thank You, Father, for the gift of grace. May no one walk away from this message unchanged. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Isaiah 53:6

“All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on Him the sins of us all.”

Here, we see a confession of sin that applies to all of God’s chosen people. Every one of us has fallen short, and so we all join together in declaring, from the first believer to enter heaven to the last who ever will, “All of us, like sheep, have strayed away.”

Yet, this confession is not just collective—it is personal. “We have left God’s paths to follow our own.” Each of us has wandered in our own way, each with our own unique failures. While sin is universal, the way we go astray differs from person to person. True repentance acknowledges this reality—it stands with others who confess, but it also humbly admits personal guilt. To say, “We have left God’s paths to follow our own” is to recognize that we have each rebelled in ways distinct to us. Some have sinned against greater knowledge, others have ignored clearer warnings, but all have turned from God’s way.

This confession is absolute—there are no excuses, no justifications. It is the surrender of all claims to self-righteousness. It is the honest admission of those who know they are guilty—guilty with aggravations, guilty without defense. They stand, their weapons of rebellion broken, and cry, “All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own.”

And yet, even as this confession might seem heavy, it is not filled with hopeless sorrow. For the next words transform it into a song of grace: “Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all.” This truth, though weighty, is overflowing with comfort. How incredible that in the place of deepest suffering, mercy is fully displayed! Where sorrow reached its greatest depth, weary souls now find rest. The Savior, wounded and crushed, becomes the healing of wounded hearts. See how even the most sorrowful repentance turns into confident assurance—simply by looking to Christ on the cross!

Let us pray.

Heavenly Father,
I come before You, acknowledging my sin. Like a wandering sheep, I have strayed from Your path and gone my own way. I have failed You in ways known and unknown, and I have no excuse. But, Lord, I thank You for Your mercy. I thank You that You laid my sins upon Jesus, that He bore the punishment I deserved.

Today, I turn back to You. Cleanse me, renew me, and restore me. Fill my heart with the joy of Your salvation. Give me the faith to trust in Christ alone, and the strength to follow You all my days. Thank You for Your grace, for Your love, and for the peace that comes from knowing that in Christ, I am forgiven.

In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

2 Corinthians 5:21

“For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.”

Are you a pilgrim who’s grieving? Why are you crying? Are you upset about your own failures and flaws? Look to your perfect Lord and remember this: You are complete in Him. In God’s eyes, you’re as perfect as if you’d never sinned at all. Even more, the Lord, our Righteousness, has wrapped you in a divine robe—you don’t just have human goodness; you have the righteousness of God Himself.

Oh, you who are mourning over the sin and brokenness still inside you, don’t forget: None of your sins can condemn you. You’ve come to hate sin, but you’ve also learned it’s not yours to carry—it was placed on Jesus’ head. Your standing isn’t based on yourself; it’s in Christ. Your acceptance doesn’t come from you; it comes from your Lord. Even today, with all your struggles, you’re as accepted by God as you will be when you stand before His throne, free from every flaw.

I urge you, grab hold of this amazing truth: You are perfect in Christ! You are “complete in him.” Wearing your Savior’s robe, you’re as holy as the Holy One. As the Bible says, “Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us” (Romans 8:34, NLT). Christian, let your heart be glad—you’re “accepted in the beloved.” What’s there to fear? Let your face shine with joy. Live close to your Master, right on the doorstep of the heavenly city. Because soon, when your time comes, you’ll rise to where Jesus is, reigning at His right hand—all because the divine Lord “was made to be the offering for our sin, who never sinned, so that we could be made right with God through Him.”

Let us pray.

Dear Lord, we come to You tonight with grateful hearts, praising You for Jesus, Your Son, who took our sins upon Himself—He who never sinned, made sin for us, so we could be right with You. Oh, Father, we lift up every hurting soul reading this, those who are crying over their failures, weighed down by their sins. Point their eyes to Jesus, Lord! Show them they’re complete in Him, wrapped in His righteousness, accepted by You right now, just as they are.

Thank You, God, that no sin can condemn us when we’re in Christ. Thank You that He’s pleading for us at Your right hand. Fill us with joy, Lord—let our faces shine because we’re Yours. Help us live close to Jesus, trusting that one day soon we’ll rise to be with Him forever. For anyone here who doesn’t know You yet, draw them to Your Son tonight—let them see the cross, let them feel Your love, and let them say “yes” to Jesus. We praise You for this incredible gift of righteousness, and we pray all this in the precious name of Christ, our Savior, Amen.
