Christian, guard your faith carefully, for faith is the means by which you receive God’s blessings. If we desire anything from the Lord, it is faith that brings it down to us. Even prayer cannot obtain answers unless it is the sincere prayer of one who believes.

Faith is like a messenger between the soul and the Lord Jesus in heaven. If that messenger is gone, we can neither send our prayers upward nor receive answers in return. Faith is the connection between earth and heaven—the channel through which God’s promises and love flow to us. As Scripture says, “Before they call, I will answer; and while they are still speaking, I will hear.”

But if that connection is broken, how can we receive what God has promised?

Are you in trouble? It is by faith that you receive help.
Are you under attack? It is by faith that your soul rests in its Refuge.

Without faith, your cries seem to find no path to heaven. Faith is the road on which your prayers travel—even in the hardest seasons. But if that road is blocked, how can you reach the King?

Faith connects you to God. It clothes you with His power. It brings the strength of the Almighty to your side. It secures every attribute of God for your defense. Through faith, you can stand firm against every enemy and walk in victory.

But without faith, how can you receive anything from the Lord? Scripture warns that the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea—unstable—and should not expect to receive anything from God.

Therefore, guard your faith diligently. With faith, even in weakness, you can receive all that you need. Without it, nothing can be gained.

Remember the promise:
“If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
