There are ample passages in the Bible telling us in absolutely clear terms that God knew His people before they were born, that God knows every little detail of their lives, and that God already has an indestructible plan for them after life.

So, as a Christian pilgrim, do not let the vagaries of life, do not let the ups and downs of life, do not let your past sins and your current challenges define you or define your future. From your first cry as a baby and to your final breath, and unto eternity, Jesus commands your destiny. Be comforted and be encouraged by this.

No guilt in life, no fear in death
This is the power of Christ in me
From life’s first cry to final breath
Jesus commands my destiny
No power of hell, no scheme of man
Can ever pluck me from His hand
Till He returns or calls me home
Here in the power of Christ I’ll stand
. – Keith Getty/Stuart Townsend

So, this is an invitation to stand and to remain in Christ all the days of your life. Don’t waver. Don’t waver. In Isaiah 44, verse 24, God described himself as the Lord your Redeemer, who formed you from the womb. The Lord who formed you from the womb. It is true. Take him at His word and believe Him. Even Apostle Paul, after he had come to faith in Jesus Christ having previously made many egregious mistakes in life, he wrote in Galatians 1:15 that God had set him apart before he was born; before he was born!

In Psalm 139, David testified under the Holy Spirit’s inspiration that God knows and God is familiar with all his ways. Dear pilgrim, it is true! God is familiar with all your ways. He is familiar with all your ways. He knows about them all.Relax, rejoice and take confidence in this.

Jesus testified of this as well, saying in Matthew 6:8 that “your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask Him.” And this validates what the Psalmist wrote in Psalm 38:9: “O Lord, my every desire is before you. My groaning is not hidden from you”

So you see, all of your ways, your needs, your innermost cries for help, they are all known to Him who commands your destiny. And what is more, in John 10: 39, Jesus said of you and of the other pilgrims: “My Father who has given them to me is greater than all. No one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.” My Father is greater than all of them, than the schemes of men, than the powers of hell, than Satan, than all his demons, than all the ups and downs and challenges of life. My Father who gave them to me, said Jesus Christ, is greater than all. No one, no one, nothing can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.

So you see, no one can snatch you out of God’s hand. So the Spirit says to you again, do not let the vagaries of life, its upsand downs, your past sins, your current challenges, do not let them define you or define your future. Do not let demonic powers and evil forces scare you. Don’t let life lead you to worship other gods or to give up. Keep loving and honoring the Lord. Keep serving Him. Keep seeking His will in prayers and Bible studies. Stand in the power of Christ and Christ the Lord and you will find that He is able to keep you from stumbling in life and He is able to present you faultless  before the mighty throne of God. Why? Because from your first cry as a baby until final breath and unto eternity, Jesus commands your destiny.

No guilt in life, no fear in death
This is the power of Christ in me
From life’s first cry to final breath
Jesus commands my destiny
No power of hell, no scheme of man
Can ever pluck me from His hand
Till He returns or calls me home
Here in the power of Christ I’ll stand

May the knowledge of God’s total charge over your life comfort and strengthen you in Jesus name. Amen!
