7 Things That Are Not a Christian’s Problem to Worry About

  • by

Worry weighs us down, but God’s Word makes it clear: there are many things we should not carry on our shoulders. Here are 7 things that are not a Christian’s problem to worry about:

(Continue reading or listen to this as read on the radio by Adetutu Awonuga)

1. What Will Happen Tomorrow

Jesus is very direct:
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” (Matthew 6:34, NKJV).
The future is not your burden—it’s God’s. Live faithfully today and trust Him for tomorrow.

2. The Future of the World

The rise and fall of nations, climate, wars, and even the end of the world are in God’s hands. Peter reminds us:
“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night… the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.” (2 Peter 3:10).
Our task is not to control history, but to live holy and godly lives as we await His return (v.11).

3. The Prosperity of the Wicked

Psalm 37 speaks directly to this:
“Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.” (Psalm 37:1–2).
Your portion is peace and trust in God, not jealousy or worry over the fleeting success of the ungodly.

4. The Realization of Prophecy

God’s promises will happen—not by our power but by His. Jesus said:
“Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” (Matthew 24:35).
Our part? Watch, pray, and be ready. God will fulfill His word in His perfect time.
