1. The Tower of Babel (Genesis 11:1–9)
Human pride tried to “make a name” by building a tower to heaven. God scattered them, confusing their language. Man’s rebellion crumbled before God’s sovereignty.
2. Pharaoh in Egypt (Exodus 5–14)
Pharaoh hardened his heart against God’s command to “let My people go.” Ten plagues later, his army was drowned in the Red Sea. No power can withstand God’s deliverance.
3. Korah’s Rebellion (Numbers 16:1–35)
Korah challenged Moses and Aaron’s God-given leadership. The earth opened and swallowed him alive. Defying God’s order is a fast road to destruction.
4. Samson’s Enemies, the Philistines (Judges 16:23–30)
They mocked Samson and Israel’s God, celebrating his capture. But God restored Samson’s strength, and the temple of Dagon collapsed, crushing thousands. The ungodly always overplay their hand.
